Shipping Damages USPS
All items shipped USPS are insured. It is the responsibility of the customer to file a claim for lost or broken goods. We will replace lost or broken goods at no charge upon receipt of supporting documentation from USPS.
Shipping Damages UPS
All items shipped via UPS are insured. The customer is responsible for inspecting and noting obvious damages to package exteriors to the UPS delivery person prior to accepting the package. Where shipped items have experienced damages internally, the customer is responsible for reporting the damages to UPS and providing the Claim Number provided by UPS to us. We will replace lost or broken goods at no charge upon receipt of supporting documentation from UPS.
Please follow the instructions provided below and in all cases call or send an e-mail to Sari Inc. with the details of the damage. (Carrier, invoice number, date of delivery, extent of damage, and any other information regarding the damage.) We will assist you with the claim process.
Damaged Procedures for United Parcel Service (UPS):
- Report all damages within two weeks (14 days) from our ship date.
- Call your local UPS office. Report the damage and request an inspection.
- UPS will arrange for an inspection or advise you of further steps to take. IMPORTANT: DO NOT RETURN DAMAGED MERCHANDISE TO Sari Inc.. Inspection must be made on your premises. Returning items VOIDS any possibility of an adjustment. All original packing materials must be kept even if there is no apparent damage to the shipping carton...
- E-mail or call Sari Inc. providing us the invoice number, number of boxes received and damage involved. This information will prepare us for a claim report from UPS.
- UPS will contact Sari Inc. within 10 to 20 working days advising us of the results of your claim.
- Sari Inc. will notify you of the results and with your feedback determine if you want a refund or replacement.
Returns:
- Returns are ONLY accepted within two weeks (14 days) from our ship date.
- Returns MUST be telephoned in to us for approval and receive a return authorization number.
- Items returned must be in salable condition.
- Packaged appropriately
- Shipped via UPS
- If retail value is more than $100.00 the item(s) must be insured by the customer.
- No COD returns accepted
- A Restocking Fee of 25% of total order purchase price will be charged for all orders returned.
Note: Refused merchandise will be charged a 25% re-stocking fee.
No Returns
on Special Order Lighthouses, Yard Ornaments, Light Kits, Amish crafted lighthouses, or Beacons
Customer Satisfaction: We try to provide the customer with as much requested information as possible before the purchase. All special items or custom made to order projects will be considered final when delivery is made to the designated destination.
